Now that the NFC East has landed two teams in the NFC championship game and neither one resides in Dallas, there’s a sense this state of affairs could spur Jerry Jones to take dramatic action. Maybe.

The Dallas Cowboys are entering their second week of searching for a head coach after moving on from Mike McCarthy last week. As of Monday morning, three interviews have been requested by the Jones family but there are names expected to be added to their list of candidates as they take it slow with their search.

After five seasons with Mike McCarthy at the helm, the Dallas Cowboys are on the hunt for a new head coach. The next head coach will be tasked with succeeding where so many of his predecessors have failed.
