As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to face the Houston Texans on Saturday in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs, the quarterback battle between KC’s Patrick Mahomes and Houston’s C.J. Stroud will be under the microscope — for obvious reasons.

The Kansas City Chiefs will be well represented this year at the 2025 Pro Bowl. Tight end Travis Kelce, center Creed Humphrey, defensive tackle Chris Jones, guard Joe Thuney, and guard Trey Smith were all selected as starters.

The Chiefs will enter the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs in a matchup against the No. 4 seed Houston Texans, and Kansas City is as healthy as it has been since the preseason in August. It’s been a long and trying road for the Chiefs to get to this point,

Three Chiefs — defensive lineman Chris Jones, center Creed Humphrey and guard/tackle Joe Thuney — were selected to the Players All-Pro team this week. The NFL players themselves determine this annual all-star team via the NFL Players Association — players vote for others at their position as well as positions against which they line up.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the top seed in the AFC and earned the first-round bye. The Chiefs were able to have two weeks of rest, as they sat their starters in Week 18 and had the Wild Card round off.
