Yankees LHP Carlos Rodon, 32, will replace teammate Max Fried on the AL All-Star roster. Rodon entered Friday with a 9-6 record and a 3.30 ERA through 19 starts.

With Aaron Judge, Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Max Fried already on the American League roster, Carlos Rodón was added on Friday. Rodón is actually taking the place of Fried on the active roster.

The New York Yankees ace has been replaced by a teammate on the All-Star Game roster, raising injury concerns.
