Browsers that use Chromium—including Google Chrome and now Microsoft Edge—are essentially interchangeable, and browser extensions that work on one will work on the other.
Microsoft Edge extension support is currently only available on Android. If you already use the browser, you can update it to the latest version (134.0.3124.57).
The company says it’s improved the responsiveness of several Edge features, including its settings page.
Once the Anniversary Update rolls out to your PC, here’s how to download and install extensions in Edge. First, open Edge and click the More icon (three horizontal dots) in the upper-right corner.
