Tens of thousands of people gathered across Arizona in parks, on street corners and at the state Capitol for a national day of protest against President Donald Trump, many in inflatable costumes that have become a symbol of resistance.
Under a sea of protest signs and inflatable animal costumes, thousands gathered at El Presidio Plaza for Tucson’s “No Kings” rally. Among them was Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva, joining local leaders and activists in denouncing federal overreach and calling for community solidarity.
