The Auburn Tigers have picked up a second transfer quarterback, with the addition of two-year Stanford starter Ashton Daniels. Daniels, who announced his destination Monday on Instagram, joins ex-Oklahoma starter Jackson Arnold in heading to the quarterback-starved Tigers.

"Seeing the atmosphere and everything that that comes with being an Auburn fan, being in this Auburn community, it's so special," Daniels said.

The SEC led the country in ranked teams once again with eight teams making the AP Poll. Apart from Tennessee and Auburn, the SEC teams who checked into the top 25 this week: No. 4 Kentucky (+1), No. 6 Alabama (+1), No. 7 Florida (+2), No. 12 Texas A&M (+5), No. 14 Oklahoma (-1), No. 17 Ole Miss (+2).

Rev. Chette Williams, a longtime chaplain for Auburn football, died in a boating accident, the team announced. He was 61. Williams served in his role for 26 seasons. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, he fell from his pontoon boat on Lake Martin on Sunday evening. His body was found about 90 minutes later
