Left-wing pundit and online streamer Hasan Piker claimed that he was 'detained' and questioned by border agents for his political views at the airport — which the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has denied.

Hasan Piker, a left-wing political commentator who has 2.8 million followers on Twitch, says he was asked about his political affiliation, opinion of Trump and whether he had connections to terrorist groups.

Hasan Piker believes he was targeted because of his views. Officials called the questioning ‘routine and lawful.’
