The California sheriff whose office is investigating the death of John Elway’s agent after a golf cart incident said on Friday that the deadly fall appears to be an accident.

We’re doing everything we can to make sure that this is what it appears to be, and just an accident,” Sheriff Chad Bianco said.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said Jeff Bianco was standing in the back of a moving golf cart when he fell. The sheriff would not say if John Elway was the driver.
