Three people have been killed in an explosion at a police training facility in Los Angeles. The incident happened at Biscailuz Center Academy Training at approximately 7.25am local time (12.30pm UK), the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department confirmed.

Three members of the arson and explosives unit of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department have been killed in a blast at the department’s training facility.

Attorney General Pam Bondi says it "appears to be a horrific incident" at a law enforcement training facility.
