Now that Saturday night’s race at Martinsville Speedway has drawn to a close, the final four competing for the Xfinity Series championship has been determined.

Byron preferred to be on offense, he said, instead of trying to race for points — which he had done the last two years at Martinsville and nearly coughed up a championship berth both times.

Blaney, who was trying to win his third consecutive playoff race at Martinsville, came up one spot short despite qualifying 31st and leading 177 laps on the 0.526-mile oval.
