Condon's return would be a major boost for a Gators team pushing for strong positioning in the NCAA Tournament. Florida (24-3, 2nd in SEC) enters the matchup against Georgia looking to strengthen its resume with only a handful of regular-season games remaining.

Coach Todd Golden said Condon should return from an ankle injury Tuesday night at Georgia, barring any setbacks during Monday’s practice. The versatile sophomore from Australia sat out the past three games after he rolled his right ankle during the opening minute Feb. 11 at Mississippi State.

Florida forward Alex Condon, who missed the last three games because of a sprained right ankle, is expected to return at Georgia on Tuesday. Condon turned his ankle in the first 30 seconds of a victory at Mississippi State on Feb.

Alex Condon’s absence has allowed other players to emerge, led by sophomore forward Tommy Haugh. He had a double-double with 16 points and 10 boards at LSU.
