Blackfalds armed robbery suspect arrested
A suspect has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Blackfalds 7-Eleven. Two suspects wearing masks from the movie Scream went into the convenience store in the early hours of Nov. 11. They threatened staff and fired a shotgun into the ceiling before taking off with cash from the till.
The robbery occurred around 10:28 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Turkey Hill in the 300 block of West Broadway, state police said.
