Scottie Scheffler still has a six-shot lead at his hometown CJ Cup Byron Nelson after the rest of the field completed the weather-delayed second round.

When action resumed, Scheffler picked up right where he left off with a birdie on the 1st, as he once again shredded the front nine at TPC Craig Ranch. He backed that up with birdies on Nos. 2, 5, 6 and 7, including a near hole-out as he danced the ball around the cup on the 6th.

Scottie Scheffler remains World No. 1 for a reason. While this PGA Tour season has largely belonged to Rory McIlroy, and his three victories including the Players and the Masters, Scheffler still holds a fairly significant lead over McIlroy in the world rankings.
