Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, San Diego State and Utah State are joining forces with Oregon State and Washington State to create a new Pac-12 conference that will begin competition in 2026-27.

Since last fall, when the Pac-12 secured the additions of Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Utah State from the Mountain West, plus Gonzaga from the West Coast Conference, the Pac-12 has adopted a blank-slate view of all major decisions.

"The Pac-12 has finalized a deal that positions CBS as the new-look conference’s cornerstone TV partner for five years beginning in 2026. CBS and Paramount+ will air the Pac-12 championship football and basketball games in the 2026-2031 seasons. A minimum of three football and basketball games each season will also appear on those two platforms.
