Driver killed after crashing into power pole in south Las Vegas
A driver was killed after crashing into a power pole on Pebble Road near Maryland Parkway, causing the east and westbound lanes to close to traffic.

A driver hit 46-year-old Javan Christian along Stewart Avenue near Mojave Road. Police identified the car as a white Chevrolet Malibu. Christian died at the scene, and Metro Police later found the suspect vehicle abandoned. Police say he was walking inside a marked crosswalk.
