New York Mets’ slugger Pete Alonso had plenty to say after Tuesday’s dramatic MLB All-Star Game. While speaking to reporters, the 30-year-old suggested that Major League Baseball (MLB) should adopt a “hockey-style” approach when it comes to on-field altercations.

Alonso is closing in on the organization's all-time home run record, but he added more to his resume on Tuesday night.

But perhaps its best decision was to bring back franchise slugger Pete Alonso on a relatively cheap deal. After prolonged negotiations, the Mets landed him on a two-year, $54 million contract with a player option after this season and he has rewarded that decision with another All-Star season.
