Michigan (13-3, 5-0 Big Ten) is one of five teams in the Big Ten which made this week's top 25. Michigan State basketball jumped from No. 14 to No. 12, while No. 14 Oregon, No. 15 Purdue and No. 20 Illinois all remained in the poll, and Wisconsin, Indiana, Maryland and UCLA all received votes.

Michigan basketball is halfway through its season thus far, and at 13-3, the Wolverines have somewhat outperformed expectations in Dusty May’s first year. The maize and blue are still undefeated in Big Ten play and are a couple of bad minutes from being undefeated overall.
