The Chargers placed running back Najee Harris on injured reserve on Wednesday, the team announced. Harris will miss the rest of the season after tearing his Achilles in Sunday's win over the Broncos.
Harris, signed by the Chargers in March on a one-year, $5.25 million fully guaranteed contract to improve their ground game, had shown flashes of his ability in limited action through three games.
