PM Narendra Modi addressed the nation after Operation Sindoor. He stated India retaliated against the Pahalgam terror attack. Modi said the enemy now understands the consequences of harming Indian women.

Following this attack, India and Pakistan officially downgraded their ties, triggering a tit-for-tat visa cancellation, suspension of bilateral agreements and more. In the aftermath of the attack, several demolitions were carried out across Jammu and Kashmir targeting suspected active militants.

In his first address to the nation after Operation Sindoor, Modi said that the future course of action against terrorism will depend on Pakistan’s behaviour. Operation Sindoor is now India’s new policy against terrorism,
