Christian Encarnacion-Strand hit a three-run homer in the five-run first inning and Gavin Lux blasted a grand slam in the eight-run fourth to lift the Cincinnati Reds to a 13-1 win against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks in the second game of their three-game series on Saturday afternoon.

Almost a full day prior to Encarnacion-Strand achieving the club's first walk-off win of 2025, the teams played several innings in steady rain that appeared to increase in intensity as the Friday night portion of the contest wore on. The Reds trailed 3-0 but climbed back to tie the game in the sixth. That's when the tarp was rolled onto the field.
