Russia has conducted a successful test of a new atomic-powered and nuclear-capable underwater drone, President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday, declaring that the new weapon can't be intercepted.

Russia has unveiled another nuclear-capable weapon — the Poseidon Underwater Drone, a nuclear-powered system capable of carrying massive warheads across oceans undetected. This comes just days after President Vladimir Putin flaunted the Burevestnik nuclear missile test,

Ukrainian drones targeted oil depots in the city of Simferopol and the village of Hvardiiske in Russian-occupied Crimea overnight on Oct. 29, the Crimean Wind Telegram channel reported.

President Vladimir Putin’s statement comes three days after he praised a successful test of a new nuclear-powered cruise missile.

Gun and drone street battles are taking place in the key city of Pokrovsk infiltrated by around 200 Russian soldiers, say Ukrainian defence chiefs. Ukraine is rushing to strengthen its positions in the strategic eastern city in the Donetsk province of the Donbas region.
