The finale of Outlander season 7 brought us one of the most mysterious moments yet Master Raymond reappeared after a long absence and apologized to Claire.

The seventh season finale of Starz’s period drama series ‘Outlander,’ titled ‘A Hundred Thousand Angels,’ follows the aftermath of Claire Fraser’s confrontation with death at a short distance after getting shot by the British soldiers.

For those who have yet to tune in, now is a good time to turn back, because we’re about to delve into one of the show’s biggest spoilers to date. The finale teased that Jamie ( Sam Heughan) and Claire’s ( Caitriona Balfe) first daughter, Faith, may have actually lived despite being stillborn in Season 2’s aptly titled installment, “Faith.”

In similar scenes to season 7 part 2, Claire is recovering but in season 2, Master Raymond, an apothecary, sneaks into Claire's room to heal her. At the time, Claire could also only see blue wings of a heron bird, with Master Raymond explaining that signals healing.
