Owner Shahid Khan always maintained the redevelopment, which will increase the capacity of Craven Cottage to around 30,000, would not be affected by relegation.

Mar 19, 2010 · Back on topic. How much capacity does the Cottage have for further expansion? Apart from the two huge crumbling terraces they have built on, it seems a very limited site. If I were an eccentric billionaire, I would be looking to completely rebuild or move, rather than keep cobbling on new bits of stands.

Aug 20, 2020 · Honest question, would there be pushback by Chelsea if Fulham goes for a 40,000 seat Craven Cottage? I know the economics of the Premier League are different than they are in American Sports but I can't imagine that Chelsea and Abramovich are happy at the idea of having a big time Fulham ground in their neck of the woods.
