It is not his fault that subsequent generations listened to "Country Boy Can Survive" and completely cut away the nuance and depth in Hank's portrayal of life. I went to see Hank Williams jr tonight at pine knob, absolutely amazing show with Marty Stuart and his fabulous superlatives. I noticed that throughout the show he changed hats almost a dozen times. Going from a baseball cap to cowboy to another baseball cap etc etc. Each hat was different from the other.
