I was an elder at Shady Grove Church in Grand Prairie, TX from 1978 to 1991. I am deeply saddened for Robert Morris' victim but I am not surprised by this revelation. When Robert came to Shady Grove in the early 80s he was full of himself as the big preacher-man on campus. He became Pastor Olen Griffing's darling from day one.

Yeah but he talked with the girl's dad and a bunch of church leaders, prayed real hard and that was actually the better outcome than going to the police. The matter was handled "spiritually". Crazy how evangelicals never want property crime or theft to be handled "spiritually" and not have the cops involved.

In past 24 hours, I have received several DMs on Twitter & Reddit from people offering to share more details about Pastor Robert Morris & Gateway in hopes I will publish unverified/unsubstantiated information. prove it? i have no appreciation for that man's if these allegations are true, but it's way to easy to drum up hate with comments like this.

Mercy Culture Church is believed to be the "next" Gateway Church set up and funded by Gateway elders...just a rebranding of the same deception, lies and of course pedophilia. They market to the under 25 LGBTQ crowd and are into the gay conversion therapy thing. Nate Schatzline is a minister at the church and a Texas legislator (R-93).
