Two loaded outbound BNSF trains pass an inbound Union Pacific empty train in the Powder River Basin on Logan Hill at Nacco Junction, as BNSF contractors audit the trains from the bridge. Nacco Junction lies on the "Joint Line", which is owned and operated by BNSF Railway and Union Pacific Railroad. This line was built by the Burlington Northern Railroad during 1979 and provides access to 11 large open pit coal mines in Wyoming's Powder River Basin. Together these mines produce nearly 400 million
