February is Black History Month! In celebration we would like to feature Victoria Freeman. Victoria and her husband moved to Longview in 1923 when Long-Bell Lumber Co. founded the city. Victoria's family were one of the first black families to move to Longview, and were the first to break the color barrier at Longview Schools.
