Our longest resident, Dixie, was adopted just before Thanksgiving… and heartbreakingly returned a few weeks later through absolutely no fault of her own, due to a change in her adopter’s life circumstances. This came after she was surrendered in early August alongside her 12-lb senior sister — so Dixie has already lost the only family she knew twice. We have rescue partners that want to help our girl — they just need a foster to make it happen. Or even better… Dixie is ready for a forever family
