Was this a scam? A caller claimed that my dad’s card had been compromised and that someone was trying to take out a loan using it. The caller asked for his card details. Before sharing any information, my dad contacted the official bank hotline printed on the card. Customer service confirmed the safest action was to block the card and issue a replacement for security purposes.
