The Bank of Mongolia reported that the country’s foreign exchange reserves have reached 7 billion U.S. dollars for the first time in history. The increase in foreign exchange reserves was attributed not only to the monetary policies pursued by the government and the Bank of Mongolia, but also to rising gold and copper prices in the global market.
