OCEAN SNAKE, SEA KRAIT, or WALO-WALOI used to be scared of sea kraits when I started freediving—even while just snorkeling. But after spending more time in the ocean, I learned they’re actually peaceful. They’re extremely venomous, yes, but also very shy and rarely bite unless provoked. So if you see one, stay calm and dive responsibly.
